The Non-Senate Academics Council (NSAC) at UC Merced is pleased to announce the return of the NSAC Awards for 2026. After much negotiation with campus leadership and especially Provost Betsy Dumont and Vice Provost Thomas Hansford, we were able to secure a pledge for monetary awards this year.
There are four specific excellence awards: Teaching, Research, Mentoring, and Service. These awards are intended to highlight our distinct roles in advancing our campus's mission as lecturers, project scientists, professional researchers, specialists, and other academic appointees.
The application period is from 4/13/26-5/1/26, after which time we will deliberate and announce awardees at the close of the 2026 Spring Semester and to allow us some time to work with the Office of the Provost.
